Baran bo Odar is a German director, producer. He is the co-creator and co-showrunner of the Netflix original multilingual mystery thriller, 1899, as well as an executive producer and writer. He and his wife, Jantje Friese, are also the creators of the hit Netflix drama, DARK and showrunners of the Netflix original supernatural drama, Something Is Killing the Children.
