Villads was a farmer who employed Krester and his family to work his farm until learning that Krester took his son's innocence. In turn, he shot Krester and raped Tove, who shot and killed him.
Biography[]
Haunting Tove[]
While aboard the Kerberos, Tove is forced to recall the traumatic memory of her attack. She finds Krester in a field being held at gunpoint by Villads, who opens fire, but Tove intervenes, causing him to shoot Krester in his face. And though he survives, Krester is badly wounded. Before long, Anker and Iben arrive. Villads asks where is Tove, to which Krester replies that she's in school. He then asks if Krester believes that telling the truth is a virtue and that telling a lie is a sin, which he does. For the commitment of a sin, the man believes that a just punishment is warranted.
Villads grabs Tove, explaining that Krester stole something from him and was lying about it. He cannot have people working for him, on his land, who didn't have values. He accuses Krester of touching his son and taking his innocence. For that, he takes something in return by raping Tove, who is knocked out and wakes up to find the man on top of her. She comes to and hits Villads in the face with a rock in an attempt to break free. However, he managed to get back on top of her and nearly chokes the life from Tove until she hits him again with the rock before grabbing his gun and shooting him.[1]
