Wilhelm is a crewman on the Kerberos who is killed by Sebastian.
Biography[]
Finding the Prometheus[]
Wilhelm and Sebastian inform the captain that for the last 20 minutes, they've been receiving a signal, possibly from the Prometheus, with its exact coordinates. And so, the captain orders the crew to change course in search of the missing ship. As they near the ghost ship, the captain orders Wilhelm and Eugen to join him, but after they both express concern, questioning why the sea is so still and referring to the old saying that the sea knew when the dead were nearby, the captain leaves them behind and takes Jérôme and Olek in their place.[1]
The fog[]
The Kerberos comes to an abrupt stop as they are engulfed by fog. Wilhelm explains that they had a perfect view one moment, but then the next moment, the fog appeared almost out of nowhere, making it impossible for them to travel ahead. With the captain out of hearing range, Franz confides in Sebastian and Wilhelm that Eyk has completely lost his mind and is incapable of making smart decisions.[2]
Mutiny[]
After taking control of the ship from the captain, Wilhelm informs Franz that the Prometheus is gone, despite the ghost ship having been tied to them moments earlier. Wilhelm suspects that it is not the Prometheus who disappeared, but the Kerberos, revealing that the compasses are working again and that they're now facing west despite previously facing east. Somehow, they're back in the position they were when they deviated from their course three days ago. Nevertheless, Franz reminds the crew that their destination lies west and commands Wilhelm to fire up the engines.[3]
Wilhelm transcribes a new message from the company that reads "Sink ship." When Sebastian returns to the bridge, Wilhelm informs him of the latest message from the company. Wilhelm realizes the captain was right and argues in favor of changing course to return to Europe. However, Sebastian pulls out a hand held device and kills Wilhelm.[4]
